Felix chose to celebrate his half year mark be getting multiple mosquito bites on his face and no longer sleeping through the night.
He also let his sister dress him up for the occasion, with a head band she found on the ground in the park.
The boy sits like a champ, rolling around and grabbing things, and becoming quite the little flirt. He smiles at all the girls, then plays coy and buries his face in my shoulder.
I thought I saw signs of a tooth earlier this week, but it seems to have retracted (or maybe I was imagining things). And he has very little interest in eating. I’ve tried to give him some banana a few times, but he just spits it out and wants to chew on the spoon.
His hair is growing in and he no longer has a bald spot on the back of his head.
His siblings love him and love singing to him. Simon has a special rendition of “The 12 Days of Christmas” (with extra verses!), they all sing “Castle on a Cloud” and then there’s the ever popular “Hush Little Baby.” Felix will calm right down when they sing to him.
It’s so great to see him being absorbed into the family. I’m pretty stoked to see him running around with his siblings in a few more months.
