we had a ball

Because Oliver turned 1. (So what if it was more than 2 weeks ago?) We stayed up until 2:00 the night before making food. We woke up at 7:30 to finish. The party started at 11:30. We finished prepping at 11:29. It was the most successful party we’ve ever hosted, in my opinion, and it confirmed my suspicions that this apartment is good for gatherings. Happy day.

Oliver may look skeptical, but he had as good a time as anyone.

I really like that announcement. That is what it is, right? The blue ball? Looks like the party was a tremendous success! I would have loved to have been there. Ü Those green olives look so tasty. I’ve decided that Jon and I will have to make another trip to New York to see your new place. Sigh.

Yep, that was the announcement/invitation. We took off the copy because it had our address on it. And it was a lot of fun. I was definitely pleased. And please do come to New York. We’ll have another party. With green olives, if you like.
