We have enough interest that the Peep Show will go on! It will be smaller than previous years, but that is okay. :)
All-O-ver, Ol-i-vore . . . we're learning that Oliver's name has some fun mispronunciations.
Also, ask him what is name is and this is what you'll hear: "My name is Oli . . . Oli . . . Oliv . . . Oli . . . I don't know."
Here I am at SFO. Again. What should have been a 40 minute layover has turned into a 5 hour layover with merely a possibility of getting on the red-eye at 10:30. Flying standby. And if I don't get on the standby flight . . . they tell me my next shot at JFK isn't for 24 hours. Yeah. So let's hope that doesn't happen. And if I don't get on standby, well, there's got to be another way home.
S: Oliver, Is Mom a child of God?
O: Yes!
S: No, Mom is a grown up!
The one night -- ever -- when Micah and I get to bed at 10:00 and could, feasibly, get 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep, Simon wakes up crying inexplicably at midnight and can't go back to sleep, Oliver falls out of bed, and we're all out a couple of hours of sleep. Clearly we need to never try to go to to bed early. It's the only way to get a good night's sleep around here.
That is what this kid
thinks we should call his little brother
who is scheduled to join us
in mid-October.
Mother and child are both doing well after 16 weeks of nausea and 5 of worry about potential complications, which have since been resolved. Hooray.
*We welcome any additional naming suggestions you may have because as cute as Babyjuice is, it ain’t makin’ the cut.
Congratulations! Glad to hear mom and baby are healthy. In thinking of alternatives to Babyjuice, the first name that came to mind was Garfunkel, but that's not much better than Simon's suggestion.
goodness I've been wondering when you were going to announce this.
Anyways, I'm really happy to hear that the complications have been resolved! Hooray!
And I don't think "Babyjuice" is all that bad. Though I guess it is a little too much like "Beetlejuice" for my taste.
You look great!
Congrats!
Congratulations!!!! I'd been getting the baby vibe from your direction for some time now… I'm glad to hear I was correct! And, as with Simon, you are one cute pregnant woman.
Woohoo!! What happy news!!!!!
I think babyjuice sounds pretty good actually.
Congrats again.
Hey – what great news! Congratulations.
Woo hoo! We are so excited for you guys, and were totally surprised by this news! We'll be back in town in a few days, so we'll have to catch up.
how fun! we're happy for you!
glad you're all happy and healthy!
Congrats! And names I love, but Chris hates (so I freely recommend to people) include Elijah and Luke. And a weird soft spot for Ignatius (Iggy), but that's definitely worse than Babyjuice to most people.
Congratulations! I'm so glad to hear that everyone is healthy and happy. You do look lovely, and the new haircut is rockin'!
Congrats! I see you took my "sibling" suggestion seriously!
SO exciting and glad to hear things are going well
yay congratulations lizzie! how exciting!! btw, i love the new haircut. you look great!
Hooray! My computer hates me at the moment, so I couldn't see any of the pictures, including your cute new haircut, but I'm sure you look smashing, as always! We love you guys and couldn't be happier for you!
I've always like the name "Enrique". I think it fits your family well.
Sheesh, my internet dies on me last week (thanks a lot lighting strike) and I miss a post like THIS! Congratulations!!!
Two little boys close in age is SO MUCH FUN!
Thanks everyone. I especially appreciate the name suggestions. Enrique is not one that would have crossed my mind otherwise . . .
